Join me at the Paul Memorial Library in Newfields, NH on Saturday, July 12 at 10am for a presentation on the Doctrine of Signatures for herbal medicine.
The Doctrine of Signatures is a philosophy that medicinal plants resemble either the body part or system that they support, or the ailment that they treat. For example, roses are widely associated with the heart and love. Well, have you ever noticed that rose petals are shaped like hearts? This is an excellent example of the Doctrine of Signatures.
In this fun presentation, we will examine several plants and how they “show up” in their Signature. Presentation runs about 1 hour and 15 minutes with time after for a Q&A.
Space is limited. Registration required.
